I might be wrong, but are you on the original Marlin read end? If so, I would like to know how you handling is at motorway speed when your under heavy acceleration to 70 :-) and lift off accelerator at that speed.

I wound up the suspension for the SVA. It was mentioned that I could fail if the wheels were outside of the bodywork at an point. To ensure it didn't we fitte 'spats', but they intruded into the wheelspace and caught the tyres without upping the suspension.

Anyway the acceleration up to 60mph was fine, as was lift of. However I took it up to a 'slightly higher speed' (under 3 figures). It felt flighty accelerating, but scared the sh!t out of me when I lifted off. I nearly needed both lanes!!!!

I put a lot of it down to the setup. It certainly needs sorting out.

My list of jobs include:
Set up headlights again (only just got passed)
Sticky front calliper
New header tank & sort the water system
Lock nuts on gear linkage (came loose during test)
Suspension set up
Tidy bodywork (and possible respray)
Seal windscreen properly
Sort heater
Fit stereo
Suspension recall
See Marlin about body fit.

Drive it to Exeter Kit show!
