Default Trying to cure cold ears

I thought I would share my attempt at preventing the frozen left ear I have been suffering from during the last few morning motorway commutes. Although the frosty mornings look lovely the freezing air swirling over the 'screen and then blowing forwards between the seats gets quite tiresome.

I looked at the wind deflectors offered by BMW and other aftermarket companies and they seemed to offer the solution but at a price.

I decided to make my own so popped down to Wickes and picked up some 4mm plastic sheet. A few moments work with a jigsaw got me the basing shape and a couple of holes drilled through gave me mounting points. Total cost was about £10.

Good
Wind reduced but not totally removed from the cabin.

Bad
It wobbles and taps against the head restraints which is a bit irritating.
It shows fingerprints really easily.

Summary : Worth using for frosty morning drives and chuck it in the boot for the rest of the time.
