Departure for the workshop (at my job) :

Then the work began at 14:00 Friday to finish at 18:30. During 4:30 we finally not advanced much given the number of times to achieve ... First I had to remove the body and the metal frame from the chassis.

The first job was the modification of the 2 rear fixing lugs for fixing the frame to the 2cv's chassis but the space between the fittings and the below the top plate of the frame is 25mm fort the front and only 18mm for the back. The kit manufacturer has done the same attachment to the front as the back and so the back was too high / upper plate of the chassis.

The steel frame is made of square section steal tube 20 * 20 * 2 and the fixing lugs was made in steal section 30 * 5. As the platinum fixing was welded under the tube was the right number for the front (20 +5 = 25mm). but it is much too high on the back. Lets go now to modify these fixing lugs !
Sorry for my English another time !

My second job : replace the rear bar at the good place : 8cm further !

The beginning of the partition:

The rear bar is now at the correct place, We can begin the construction of the luggage’s compartment.

Nest Friday afternoon, we will finish the metal frame.…
