It would be interesting to know if that's the same as others see. Might indicate a faulty servo unit if not?

Maybe you need a pressure
reducing valve for the rear brakes? Mind you, I don't think those do anything when the pedal's not pressed...

Is it possible to have
too much vacuum? What would the effects be if so? I've seen minimum but not maximum vacuum levels quoted. Is there any manual adjustment possible on the rest position of the rear brake shoes?
