So where do I stand?
My Daytona is 1976 and registered as an RS Daytona Spyder. One of the reasons for me buying it was the fact that it would now be MOT free, once I get a current MOT on it (just waiting for a new brake servo).
I have magazine articles on the car showing the registration number from the late 90's but have no idea when the car was modified. Robin Hood started making the Daytona in the early 80's.
Do the DVLA keep a record of when the V5 would have been changed or would it be too early? Don't want to ask them as then it can get tricky and there is no going back.
