Good to hear from someone from "down under". Two of my best friends are there at the moment and are in love with the country.
That is a fascinating article for anyone building their own design of kit car. I am starting with panels copied from an original car so my problems are slightly different, but some of the tips will be really useful when I come to build "make up" joining panels between the Z3 chassis and the 275 panels. I also have to make wheel arch eyebrows, headlight cover panels and an enlarged rear window. A lot of my time has been taken up by making spare copies of the side "gills" and sticking them in different places with masking tape. Those decisions have now been made and it is full steam ahead.
