I've spoken to the gearbox place and they are re-doing the recon cert/writing a letter reconfirming it being reconditioned to "as new" and I should be able to get a cert. from SC but it's just annoying and time consuming as I can only get to the DVLA on Wednesdays - but it looks like a new reg. will be going on it
