Looking at the chassis there are a number of differences, but in terms of fitting the 02M gearbox, the biggest difference between your car and John's is the inclination of the engine. John's is at a stock angle, whereas yours looks to be leaning forward by a fair angle. Are you going to fit a baffled sump? Presumably Marlin do this on their race cars, to avoid any starvation issues resulting from decreasing the effectiveness of the pickup.
