Jeff's are the cars that would set the ceiling prices, fit and finish is what it is all about.
I have seen some that you can get your fingers through the panel gaps. The final gapping and paint finish is where the time and money goes. Some I would have trouble getting in as the doors just don't open wide enough, and me with the snake-like hips
I'm happy with my build but I know I could improve on it but have no illusions that it would never come close to one of Jeff's.
If Gaz had the convertible I would love to have a go at finishing it. The thing about the convertible is that you can remove the rear end at any time which I did several times during the build and also removed it for painting which made it all much more manageable.
I still think Smash's car was sold too cheaply.
