For a first attempt at a two piece mould, I wouldn't be comparing yourself to Chris @ Tribute who does this sort of thing with his eyes closed.
The key point, for me, is that you have a lightweight custom build fibreglass part.
Whereas, I'm actually driving around in the 'buck' for my car.
