Hi Andy, I am too old too try and put a car through IVA. I spent a lot of my working life kicking against the pricks , now I don't bother. I know a person who could get you an MOT on anything and swears nobody bothers with IVA 'Just keep it as it is, no bother' Yea right! There was a Moss with a new chassis that the seller claimed could be reregistered as a rebody. I think he got a lot of feedback because ,next thing 'No paperwork spares only'. If a car could easily be reregistered it would make sense to do it before selling.
BTW not many engine gearbox and back axle less Duttons for sale with no V5 at the moment.
