The policeman bit has been removed.
I asked the Vendor what is shown on the V5 and where :-
noted as a body change many years ago!!
is noted , also what does the MOT say it is .....

It was bought off Ebay for £2k in Sept and now for sale for £3.5k was dropped to £3k just before expiration of last classified ad.
As I understand it if there are notes at the bottom of the V5 that say body change and can be dated to pre-1998 then that is ok you can just ask the DVLA to correct the details to NG TA.
However if there is no dated proof it was on the road before 1998 then BIVA it is .
Of course as a buyer you are not allowed to fill in a V888 and pay for the vehicle details which seems all wrong to me as you are at the mercy of the seller.
