This caliper mounted directly on Marlin's radial-bossed upright will only take a 262mm disc. Data on the caliper (powerlite I think) from rallydesign:

suggests it will take up to 280mm disc, but you'd need to make your own caliper bracket.

The thing I'm still uncertain of is front/rear balance. Time will tell!
Front & rear balance is sort of simple as you can buy a balance adjuster, which you fit into the rear brake line. Not sure if you may be able to fit this to your car or what your brake parts your using.
