The above of course, is the process for the Herald/Vitesse based Pilot. The 'slightly' revised list for the Navigator is:
/ Strip donor car of interior, body tub, soft top and bonnet and sell unwanted parts on ebay, possibly for more than you paid for the donor.
/ Refurb rolling chassis and Engine to your requirement and lower suspension to desired ride height.
/ Bolt frame (Including steel floors) onto chassis, fit fuel tank, route rear wiring loom, handbrake, seat belt mounts and fuel supply.
/ Bond body shell onto chassis/frame, ply line interior and create dashboard.
/ Fit and fettle bonnet, flyscreen, complete wiring and lights.
/ Prep and paint if required.
/ Fit seats/belts/interior trim and instruments to personal taste.
/ Add petrol, sorry, gas, take a deep breath and drive to MOT (or equivalent).
/ Enjoy.
