Sadly this comes as no surprise.
Dave is enthusiastic, but completely lacks the marketing skills of Terry (her main strength!!). Dave was on the MOC stand at Stoneleigh trying to promote the Javelin, instead of in a main hall, and the car was showing signs of rust on the underside, whilst asking £23k for it! He was never going to get a buyer.
Also, canny Terry would never have sold the project were it not for the fact that even she was struggling to make a business from it.
My understanding was that Marlin would claim the project back if it did not work out: so we will have to see what happens about parts availability for the Cabrio? May be my Marlin Cabrio will not be the last Marlin badged one after all - assuming Terry claims the project back again?
