Default Thoughts on next toy car

I'm looking for thoughts and experiences please gents.

I'm exceptionally fortunate to have a great little toy car stuffed away in the garage. Things have been going on at work and friends either returning to the U.K. Or family passing away. I decided that it is time to hit some of my bucket list. I was going to build something a little more budget conscious next but decided to go for gold...

I've always wanted a 911 - actually a 356, but have realized that a 356 is now out of my price range and the two replicas (one Coupe one speedster) were great but just not quite there. So 911 it is.

I've sold my summer car (Modernish Jag) and with the cash in pocket, I've been looking for an impact bumper 911. Probably to backdate to longhood. Wow - I didn't realize where the 911 market has gone even for impact bumper cars.

So far I've seen three and all three have had significant issues related, mostly due to accident damage and others that I haven't even been to see, seem to have significant clocking. I think the problem is I'm looking at the bottom end of the market.

I'm now almost three months into searching and I'm getting a little surprised at what they are selling for compared to what else I could buy for the money.

Today, I've started thinking about a Lister Bell Stratos replica. I've heard good things about the finished cars and think I know how to bring it to the US and register it following the importation rules.

Pros and cons for a Lister Bell (1 yr waiting list) vs a compromised 911?

Anyone had experience of Lister Bell? I think I'll need to take a trip back home to visit them.

Thanks!
