If the lack of patina is an issue - you could always build one and lend it to me for a year or two... I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a struggle to get the passenger seat patina added as well
In seriousness, if the inside has patina, then shouldn't the chrome and paint be the same? I don't know the answer, but think it's a pretty interesting question.
All of the classic kits I've had / built have probably been 'off' as I've always used new parts so the car has always looked like a new resto. (I wish
) I know others that haven't and considered making a patina 356 speedster at one point but it brings up an interesting point.
