I'm jealous that you've already got your bonnet done, as i've got to recess my bulkhead in order to fit my 15" wheels and lower my radiator before i can do mine.
I've got to agree with you that these really are a nice quick build and due to that it draws you in and keeps things moving really quickly especially if, like me, you have limited spare time.
Seeing those pics of it on the original steel wheels, i reckon that if you were building one of these on a REAL tight budget <cough>Pat</cough>
then you could most probably just get away with a quick lick of silver paint on those and it'd actually look quite nice!
