I've read the manual a number of times and it says "e" marked or emit light of a similar brightness.
If they are "E" marked, i guess there is no debate. If they are not marked, it is down to the examiners discretion. My plan is to use some cheap "e" marked side repeaters and then replace with my nice non-"e" marked ones.
My theory is that the less there is to his descretion, the easier it is for the examiner to give it a pass!
I bought another set of front indicators recently to get the "e" marks and now find they are only 5 watt bulbs! Normal car indicators are 21 watt, so now i'm not sure which is best?
Bright but not "e" marked?
