And I assume your propshaft is nowworking fine?
I shouldn't worry about what temperature your gauge reads so long as it settles at a stable value and doesn't boil over at speed or in hot summer traffic.You might find the lack of louvres a bit challenging in summer traffic jams?
Do you think the 'non-starting' issue is related to the battery issue? If it has an internal thermal overload switch it might be cutting out and resetting when it gets cooler? Not that I know anything about these new batteries
Next time it happens, try your headlights to isolate where the issue might be.
