I'll agree to dissagree with that, as I'm of the opinion a MOT certificate is generally not worth the paper it's printed on. Objectively it won't confirm the brakes will pass IVA, but it'll check the emissions - anything subjective isn't much use, unless seriously dangerous.
I thought for a moment that there was some strange rule with the IVA, as an MOT wasn't needed pre-SVA.
