My partner took me for a surprise day out on Saturday. Imagine my happiness as we approached Watergate Bay and I realised that the public road had been shut for a hillclimb.
It was a brilliant event - the first and currently only hillclimb on an English public road. All thanks to the recent(ish) change in legislation.
It was a stunning backdrop for some great cars.
If anyone fancies coming down next year, let me know. There were some good club stands in the paddock.
The Europa was my favourite Matchbox car as a child.
A very pretty Vixen.
A Mini...with Audi Quatro running gear.
On the move this time.
My favourite - a Chevron B19.
