Yes, the 'ring of rivinuts' is to mount the fuel sensor, but haven't actually tried it yet.
The plan is to hold the ring in place with just two short screws.
Then loosely mounting the sensor with long screws through the tank holes into the ring.
Then remove the short screws and mount the sensor using the correct length screws.
(or I might just glue the ring in place?)
I'll let you all know if I manage to do it without dropping the ring and/or screws into the tank!
