Spent some more time on it today.

Fitted the fuel pump and filter. It has a 15mm feed pipe and a 8mm flow/pressure pipe.
I am using flexi hose but will replace it with copper at a later date.



Also fitted a frame to carry the gear stick and hand brake. The gear stick and shaft are from a BMW E36 as it is about 100mm shorter this bring the gear stick forward to a much better position. Range Rover hand brake lever is fitted and working using the standard Triumph cable.



The fuel filler will be mounted where it is on a steel plate and then pass through a hole cut in the body so when the body is removed the filler will stay in place and keeping the fuel and vapours safely inside the tank. A rubber seal will be fitted between the steel plate and the body.



All things well, we will be wiring it up over the next few days and hopefully have it running next weekend.
