Thanks John, never thought about anyone having spares I could have borrowed!
I have spent about 3 hours on this today and have taken about 8mm off the carrier and about 8-9mm off the back of the alloy itself as the carrier would have been compromised imo if I had taken much more off.
I will post pics later as the the wheel now spins ok but the wheel nuts dont fit
I spoke to someone at rover and they said they are all the same......well these ones clearly arn't. Again pics to follow
If anyone has any nuts that will fit mine that I could borrow for a few weeks
