The car goes to the garage on Thursday, so I needed to do a bit of tidying up...
The heater hose leak has got worse.
So I removed the centre section of the dash…
But that only gave me half decent access to one hose, so I had to crawl back into the footwell again.
I swapped two clips from the type on the right to the type on the left.
I also removed the zip ties holding the steering arm rubber gators in place (previous owner).
Then fitted some jubilee clips instead.
Out some thick tape on the inside surfaces of the passenger seat belt hooks.
( I had previously used some masking tape to stop the resonance rattle these made. )
I used some panel wipe to clean up the petrol streaks on the body work.
And touched up some chips in the Tetroseal.

Then it was back to domestic chores and more gardening.
Tidied up this corner.
And did another section of edging the grass.
Before another evening BBQ for the family.
Hope to take the car out one evening this week to test the heater hose fix before Thursday.
