Deni The issue I mentioned was sorted out mainly because I got the rolling chassis from a Triumph breaker and he was able to confirm (in writing) that he stripped the car to sell me the rolling chassis less engine.
This was backed up with a paid invoice.
DVLA seem to deal with each case as they see fit so advice is difficult.
Do you have a up-to-date V5?
If you do send it off, if you don't apply for a new V5, as getting a current V5 in your name is the first step.
