They're called 'well nuts' and are commonly used to hold toilet seats onto the pan.
I used them to fit my flyscreen:
Well nut (M10 I think) -
Suitable hole drilled into the body -
And you can fit your screen into blind panels without needing access to the other side -
Still tight as a gnat's chuff after more than three years on the road -
