The base car for the new MX250C is now stripped and ready for panels to be fitted over this weekend. Very busy week on other jobs this week, so we are a bit behind, but will be in primer by Thursday night, ready for the drive to Donnington on Friday.

Most people who have seen the car being stripped have asked "why are you destroying such a nice car?", to make it into a BETTER car is my reply!

Not the front end we are going to be fitting, just had to store it somewhere.

The Compomotive wheels really change the look of the car too. Hope to get time to lower the car, but it may have to wait until after the show.

Default Progress, progress, progress

Saturday and Sunday spent on the convertible (Big thanks to Dan). Progressing well with front and rear sections bonded on, with front filled and prepped for primer. Still have to make the boot lid yet, first job on tuesday!

Back wheel spacers haven't arrived yet, so may have to go to the Show with a "skinny" rear end. That would make a change!!

I asked the same question earlier in this thread.

Looks stunning, even in primer, can't wait just over three weeks and I can come to pick my kit up, hope it will be ready! Even like the vents now!

Hi Tony, Production proper will start early next week on the MX250C panels, so just let me know a date that suits you for picking a set of panels up.

Donington Show went really well, a day off today then back to the workshop

A well-deserved day off!

Good talking to you and Dan yesterday Chris, thanks for your time & advice. The car looked even better than the pictures.

I've begun to look in the usual places for a base car now - I'll be in touch again when I find one to my liking ;o)

Mike

I'm chomping at the bit now after seeing you both and the car, even my missus is getting excited!!!
My number 1 priority is getting my sills sorted out then it's MOT time.
I'm looking forward to making the call and following trip to you to get the kit from you.

Hi Bongo and Tytek,

Great to meet you at the Show, really glad you both liked the car "in the flesh". Good luck with search for base car and MOT.

Hi Tony. Between those 2 dates suits me fine, just let me know a firm day for pick up.

Hi John. I have been trying to upload more pictures today, but I seem to have a problem with photobucket at the moment, I will try again tomorrow.
