I will be going but its all weather dependant. Will choose the best day. If its forecast to chuck it down both days then will have to reconsider.
It cannot rain both days...............can it ?

Looking forward to this show, the big one.
We will be launching the Replicar and MEVSTER, my new book and I will be doing a seminar each day regarding designing your own sports car. Come and say hi.
Don't change your mind if it rains unless you are made of sugar! Regards Stuart
p.s updates of Our Aston Martin inspired Replicar (TM) are now on line here;

I am at a loss to why so many people say "depending on weather", "weather permitting", this is a once a year show, as someone once said, "no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing". The cars need a good wash underside and bin liners do cover seats! I am going rain or shine, having said that I will be in a truck dragging 2 cars so who am I to question others!

I did Stoneleigh and Newark (and a few other places) last year in the pi**ing rain - on a motorcycle, so yes this would definitely be a case of 'Weather Permitting', as its not worth going to see cars that are not there!

Its easy to see from your previous post what your interest is. You have a need to increase people attending as more people mean potential customers, so can understand your comment. Stoneleigh is the biggest but its not the only one, so if you miss this one then there are others worth a visit.
Personally I can think of nothing worse than wandering around in the pouring rain, even if I have the right clothes. If its all inside then a different matter.
Good job we are all different.

Don't forget loads of the Stoneleigh show is inside and you get in free coming in your kit, so it's always worth going, even if the weather is a bit pants.

I'm going one of the days, I'll take one of the kids so it won't cost anything for us both and the car to get in.
Wet weather gear and plenty of clothes and see how the day goes.

Yes I know, been there a few times now.
But my kit car has never seen rain, don,t wish to start now even though it has a hood. I will leave my daily runabout to suffer the rigours of the British weather.

There really isn't much of interest to me inside. I can oh and ah over the chrome do-dads online. I also dislike crowds and the inevitable rude and ignorant people that these events often attract.

Neither do have a 'kit' so I don't get in free.

I think there may be a few like me who prefer to spend their time outside avoiding the 'kit-in-a-box' scene to see how individualistic some of the builds are, which can be very amusing......

I've posted up my pictures from this years show.
Of course, this year they are mostly Royale Sabres which are all the same but all different, if you know what I mean.
