Cool Kophill climb 2017

Hi all,

Just heard this about the Kophill climb event later this year (Sept 16/17th)

"This year is the 70th anniversary of Ferrari and we have some very historic Ferraris from the 50’s onward coming to Kop Hill this year"

http://www.kophillclimb.org.uk/

Organisers are talking with Ferrari directly about event, so should be pretty special.

Consequently they are not allowing replica Ferraris up the hill this year so I have a paddock space booked for the sunday, can't wait for this event.

Close enough to me to possibly visit. Mines not a Ferrarrrrri or similar so may be eligible.

Do I need anything more than a car and a heavy right foot?

Its not a proper hill climb, just a parade. So no heavy right foot needed.

It comes as a standard fitment on all my cars it seems...

Looks a bit like the Bromyard Speed Festival back in April. The streets were packed with spectators to view hundreds of classics being driven around the town centre. It wasn't a race event but some cars must have been going 70+ just a couple of feet away with little regard for safety, just like the good old days !! Plenty on YouTube.
