Default Current Project- Reverse Trike.

I'm currently studying engineering in 6th form at my school near Newcastle. For the classes overall IVA project, we have decided to make a three wheeled, reverse trike with a Kawasaki GT550 attached to the back. We've completed the chassis, the suspension, the uprights, the brakes and the bike is now attached to the back of the frame. The next stage for us is the steering.

With the car being centre drive, we need quite a specific steering rack. Something a bit like this:

http://www.berrisford.co.uk/product_...25c2p1og8sh7u1

The only problem with the above rack is that the steering is too sensitive and there isn't enough turn of travel on the rack.

Does anyone know of any centre drive steering racks out there where the length is about 400mm? ]

Any help would be grateful. I'll try and find some pictures of our car to upload as well.

Thanks.

There is a guy called Dermot Healy (07703-162409) on uphillracers that sells lots of ex hillclimb and race car stuff, give him a ring as he might have something (he's got some pretty random stuff so you never know!)
