Nice one! If you don't mind telling what did the paint job cost?

Well done Grahame. It looks very shiney! Must be one of the quickest start to finish builds of a 250. Was it sprayed in a booth then baked?

Hi Grayone,
Do you have 12V (positive) to the bulbs?
Best measured against a good ground, ground not measured in the lamp socket
Then measure from the battery + to, the - ground of the socket.

Somewhere I have a wiring diagram
I'm looking for him

Not bad considering the cost of paint, good call on the diagram being male, it would be as its a blokes thing, if we used gender in English, we only use one that I know of and its "she" for a boat or a ship, every thing else in English is neutral. still the english is better than my German, so hats off. (or my Fench or Czech).

The car looks great Grahame Can't wait to see it with the new wheels installed.

The light problems will be an earth fault, almost certain of that. Check for any loose connections, all the lights share a common earth as far as I know.

You will need 2 people to put in the rear window. Feed a piece of strong string around the inner channel of the rubber seal (with it in place on the glass) overlap the string at the base of the window, put the loose ends of string inside the car, then push the lip of the rubber over the bottom edge of the window opening, with your helper pushing down on the glass from the outside pull then string slowly out from the rubber causing it to pull the rubber over the edge of the window opening. Take your time and it will fall into place, once in you can seal under the rubber with clear silicone.

Hi greyone, all you guys are an inspiration! I have no mechanical ability at all, but love beautiful cars and the mx250 certainly fits the bill. Thankfully Chris has taken on board the task of getting my dream car on the road, looking forward to seeing all your cars at Stoneleigh

Hi Ken

Yes, it would be great to see an MX250 line up at Stoneleigh, including your "Black Beauty"
