Default Track time

Hi

All being well I may get my first 20 minutes of track time this Friday at Oulton park (weather permitting!)

Car has just had it's 3rd MOT and a full service (oil, plugs and filters)...so it is in good shape. Brakes are all fine too.

Question:- What would you guys who have run on track before recommend for tyre pressures and damper setup. I'm running 185/55 r15 at 17psi on the road at present and dampers on 4 clicks front, 7 rear.

Thanks#

Rich

Hi Rich.

I had a play when I went for the airfield day. Right or worng, I experimented with the different clicks.

Only had half a day. But this is what I found.

Not sure what springs your using at the front. But 225 was too soft at the front. Catched the front clam. help the road though and was very stiff at max clicks.

Managed to get 20 mins tatser session today. Stiffened the dampers up a bit and seemed OK.

....now need to get more track time....it beats the hell out of road driving!
