Default Amateur build declaration??

Does anyone know where I can get this form from?
I have searched vosa with no luck!!

I have ticked the box on the form but reading this from another thread it seems there is more to sign??

I could not find the form online anywhere.

Seems silly getting the form only once you have sent off for application.

Ok spoke just spoke to vosa and first person said and I quote

'no such form exists just send us your sva1 form'

Was not happy with that answer so phoned back and spoke to someone else who put me through to a diff dept!

Here is the silly bit, yes there is an amateur build declaration form and they will no longer accept sva1 forms without it but its not online and not available........

Long story after that but eventually she agreed to send me one out

They send out the declaration upon receipt of your SVA application, or at least that's how my process went.

Yes that is what they eventually told me on the phone but also said this process adds about 3 weeks to the time it takes to fully process application!

Craig

I got all the nonsense on the phone from VOSA & DVLA. Basically, there is no hard & fast rules that either of them can understand.
I gave up and went to the local DVLA office twice. On both occasions the girls I saw paniced when the mention of kit car was made. They duly called the expert in the office who was in fact no expert.
The declaration form is wait for it A PHOTOCOPY!!!!!!
Trust me, despite the troubles building the car, it was a lot less stressful than trying to get it on the road.
