Default More wheels

Ordered a few sets of chrome wires, bit nerve racking as its a lot of money if they don't fit. However fears were unfounded as they fit really well. Centre lock hubs with a peg type drive, much better than the old style splines, triple eared spinners are the finishing touch.
Yyres 205/65x15 and the suspension lowered by 30mm. Lowing the suspension causes the top of the wheel to tip in slightly at the top. I was of course allowing for this otherwise it might have been a bit tight

and they also fit

Next job is the dash which I'm really not looking forward too but all mocked up on the bench

6", couldn't get 7" to fit without modifying the rear axle which I wanted to avoid. The 6" rim looks right, it also leaves the tyre overhanging slightly which protects the rim from kerbing.

It's the only colour to go for!
I have just picked up a 3.0 which is a very pale blue and I might paint it in the BMW colour to save having to paint the shuts.

I bought another 250swb from Chris last year that was going to be built with my son as a reward for getting a first from uni but he got a job up in Scotland.
This needs to be started and also want to get back on the Z3 Daytona project as well.
Also working on the RS Daytona, have an oil leak from the front timing cover, book says 33hours to fix!
No peace for the wicked.
