Thanks Jason, I have bought stuff from Woollies before, so will be going there again. If it does not fall to hand then don't worry. I can measure and add a bit.

AHA! Peter, I see that you have done just what I intend to do with the floor. I suspect that you trial fitted the floor to enable the seat fitting to be worked out?
Oh I love this forum, its so re-assuring! John

Yes, exactly right, you can see in the picture that the floor was not yet riveted.
IIRC, I put off doing the riveting until I was absolutely sure I didn't need to remove the floor again!

Dennis - I ordered 4 meters of 413-BLK from woolies:

http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1861...ng-carpet.aspx

Was more than enough. This is light weight carpet, not suitable for the foot wells. I have used it on all the side panels, behind the seats, over the tunnel and on the boot door.

The foot wells have ribbed rubber sheeting down (which could do with redoing, as I got the thin ribbed one - and my heels have worn through the ribs already!)

Hope that helps

Jason

Thanks Jason, thats perfect. Nice to have some spare material. Will also get thicker rubber matting to avoid your problem.
