Default Todays Progress 9th April.

Decided to start off the day stripping some more loom down, managed to cut quite a lot out so far, still faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too many wires there tho, also forgot to take pix of that

Anyways, then i decided to make a start with some body bits:

There she is hanging so i can do all my cutting without damaging parts of the chassis.
First job was do put the engine bay cover on, get it all aligned and then drill these 2 holes from underneath:

Next i decided id do some of the holes inside:

So there we have the fuel sender/pump access hole, handbrake holes and cable mounts, gearchange hole, just in front of that are 2 pipes for the heater, and then one for the steering pinion.

Next i decided to do some cleaning, before shot:

After shot:

Amazing what difference a bit of elbow grease and biological washing poweder makes.

Then i decided to start mocking up the brake pipes and clutch pipe

Also here you can see ive put the air con pipes through.

Then the last bit of work for today, the rather careful task of cutting out the front air intake:

Its nearly there not quite, bit more sanding to do on the top left, decided i'll fabricate some brackets at a later stage that can hold some mesh in place at the same time as holding the front number plate.

And thats it for today
