Default mx250 on cross channel ferry

Hi, I was thinking of taking my mx250 across to France for a holiday/road trip this summer. Just thought there might be potential problems driving on and off the ferry, long nose v ramps etc. Any thoughts guys, or experiences?

Tell the ferry company in advance. You should see it at the Le Mans weekend, there are planks and ramps and rubber lumps everywhere getting all the sports cars on

Not car related, but in the 80's I took the ferry from France to England. It was in the middle of the night and I was seasick so I went to sit on the top deck. It was freezing cold and drizzling. The only other people there was a very drunk British couple. The gentleman kept telling me that his wife had the best TITS in the world. She proceeded to show them to me!

Hi Ken

The ramp into the MOT bay at the garage where your car was done is very steep, but if taken very slowly didn't cause a problem.

On the Portsmouth St Malo ferry, if they take you up to the next level on the internal ramps, watch out for the abrupt change from a steep ramp slope to the flat next deck as it is a sharp "hinged" joint so mid grounding is a possibility. Peter.
