I am really pleased that all the effort Dan and I have put into getting the panels right has paid off for customers building their own cars.
We have got this in the workshop today:
We will be taking it to Newark next Friday looking a little different!!

Thank you John for making it possible for this kit car "family" to share their enthusiasm, ideas and humour with each other. Fingers crossed that there will be plenty of users in the new Tribute Section.
Regards Chris

V8 MX5 on ebay
Someone on the Pistonheads Forum pointed me at the car on Saturday. I have now spoken to David who owns and built the car and he is coming to Newark Show with the V8 MX5. We are discussing a possible conversion service/supply of parts for future V8 MX250's! I will keep you informed of the outcome. Exciting stuff!!
Have a look at this one too: http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96885

Hmm, could do with a subtle blister or 'Norfolk Scoop' (ask Gary J) to cover the slight protrusion of the blower through the bonnet methinks.

The MX250 bonnet will just about cover that, I think. Love it

Loving the conversion but was wondering a couple of things.
Any chance of a video walk around of the car external & interior?
Do you have any pictures with the front only on it?
Any plans to do a soft top version?

I am lucky enough to only be a couple of hours away, and went ti visit Chris and have a look. In the flesh the red car was truly stunning and looks me like a genuine piece of exotica. It looks even better than in the pics. Good enough for me to order one!

Sumilidon, your idea about the "walkaround" video is a good one, have the camera, just need to work out how it works with uploading, photobucket? Anyone help?
I have had requests for a front only conversion, but the front has gained quite a lot of width to match the rear arch flares, so would require some narrowing to work (isn't that right Theo).
Soft top? Check out the new tread........
Nick, Thank you for your VERY kind comments and your order.

Just upload your video to photobucket exactly like you would static images, then copy the img code and paste it into the thread. It'll show a static image in the thread but run the video in a separate window when you click on it.
