Default Fraud Alert

If looking for old parts online, beware OLDSTOCKSPARES which links to a website RHM Oldstocks which may or may not be legit (hotel on cos house).
Live chat guy wants payment up front with visa and a verified by visa password to process order, or bank transfer if over £100. I think it's a hacking scam.
Avoid! Reported to Action Fraud.

Default Update - Fraud alert

OLDSTOCK SPARES. This 'vendor' more recently linked to a website called Tamar Spares (with it would seem a valid VAT number) It also used that VAT number as a company number - which it isn't.... indeed there is no company of that name, and the person running Tamar spares may know nothing of this until people knock on his door!
They are now linking to a website called "Holloway Car Spares" with an address of Part Tv e.K.
Turiner Str. 17,
Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen 50668,
Deutschland

Avoid!!! DO NOT send them money.
Anyone who has doubts about whether this is authentic advice, just do a google search "old stock spares scam" and there's plenty of unfortunate victim accounts. Unfortunately I can't keep this warning on Pistonheads as it "breaks their name/shame rules" and they delete it. Shame on Pistonheads not wanting to stop crime.

This is very strange indeed - they've now changed BACK to being Tamar Spares!
All very odd, and I'm sure the advice of steering clear of these people still applies. Maybe the German authorities stamped on them??
