Default Wheels

Hi guys
Big ask it’s a big ask but can you guys post a pick of your cars wheels. I find it hard to picture each style on the cars. I like spikes but hate cleaning them so maybe looking at alloys that look like spokes
Thanks in advance

Jaguar Lattice alloys look nice and come up on ebay all the time. Most common in 15" and the more desirable 16" shown here. BMW did a similar style but will need a bit more hunting down. Sorry photos aren't loading at the mo !

BMW BBS Mahle design. You might find a good set but there are plenty out there for refurbishment.

To be honest, the wire wheels really set the car off and look right. You shouldn't need to do a thorough clean more than about twice a year, it must be worth it ?
Here is one of the better Tribute cars, with wires !

What size are you going for? Which kit are you building? Wires will look great though

I’m building the 250 sub.
Back end is on. It’s having the exhaust system fitted at present with a monza cap etc. I’m doing it in sections so I can drive the mongral whilst in the middle of the build.
Not sure on tyre sizes yet. I suppose it will depend on the wheels I end up with !

Default Tribute Owners Lunch / Tea meet.

Sorry to hear that is grim 'up north' but thought there is just a chance you could be in the locality / visiting Tribute at Hurst Moreton and it might like to hear about a social lunch.

Datona Wire wheels, are excellent
http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/

Various styles , bolt on option, which eliminates the spline

I think they have an importer, possibly North Hants Tyres
There are other wire wheel manufacturers in the States Maybe Nostalgia

On the down side the the pound is worth nothing, When I bought them it was 1.98 dollars to the pound
