Angry Warning Please Read

Hi All, this is a quick warning that could save you a lot of money.
I hired a van to pick up my kit from Chris 4 weeks ago. I hired it through A1 van and vehicle hire. They took £250 out of my account for a deposit that they don't tell you about. I am still waiting for this deposit and on researching I have found that hundreds of people are in the same boat, some have paid £500 and are still waiting for a refund. They sub contract the hire out to Enterprise who are the innocent party. They seem to be a scam company who take your money and don't give it back. The long and short of it is, if you are going to hire a van to pick a kit up, do not use A1 vehicle and van hire. If you want an interesting read google A1 van and vehicle hire-reviews.
Thanks all

Hi, sorry to hear your story. Have you been in touch with your bank/credit card company as I have found them good at sorting out refunds etc. Good luck.

Quick update. A1 van hire is a fraudulent company. Luckily I contacted ITV's 'the ferret' which is a bit like watchdog and they got my money back. They are soon to charge the guy responsible

Default Quite tight

I know the rear panels aren't fitted yet but I couldnt resist trying the back section on. Its about 70 foot out of my garage to my driveway gate and I have got about 2" clearance either side

Excellent start Dave . Just call if you have any questions. It would be good if you started a new tread to show the whole process. Keep us posted.
