Default help with wishbones

hi everyone.
i am in the process of designing a new kit car car, most of it will work like the ariel atom (although it will look nothing like). My problem is i am not sure on the wishbones, do the top ones need to be a different length to the bottom or can thy be the same lenght, also i have read that f the top one is angle upwards it will help antidive.
any help is appreciated. please go easy though cause i get lost with lots of figures.

Depends if mountings are vertical,if so wishbone at top will need to be slighltly shorter to allow for some neg camber, also depends on uprights if they are vertical when mounted ie ball joints same top and bottom

Would it be worth getting a book on suspension design and theory (there 5 or 6 on amazon)?

From my little understand of the subject it seems to quite complex to get right

i have just ordered How to Build and Modify Sportscar and Kitcar Suspension and Brakes for Road and Track so when it gets here i will let you know.
the monts are vertical and the hubs will be the rally design kit based on cortina uprights. the mounts can be altered if need be.

well there is castor, camber and track really the first ron chapman how to build a sports car for £250 gives you an idea of what is needed in simple terms then you can build on that, just make everthing adjustable a little.

more important to have rack mounted in correct place to eliminate bump steer than anti dive for normal use i would say.
