Default Push Button Start

Does anyone know how to wire a push button start on a sierra colum. There are 3 wires on the switch
one big thick red one
& 2 thiner wires black and yellow and black and I think purple.

I have a doomsday switch a neon light and a big fat push start button on a pannel and then a replay with number like 30, 87, 86 and one other.

Can anyone help PLEASE

yes that sounds right, the starter wire is the purple wire, wire your engine start in line take feed from live feed and run to push button, then wire this into the purple wire, removing the exsisting connection, so that the push button makes and breaks the circuit it works the same as a normal key controlled ignition switch, except that you have a button rather than key operation, the other wires should not need to be changed, the black wire should go to the points if fitted or the ignition side of the ecu
