Default battery cut off switch

hi,where is an appropiate place to mount the battery cut off switch,bearing in mind the iva test, does it have to be in the cockpit,and to hand for the driver,cheers

No, it doesn't need to be in the cockpit. Mine is mounted in the engine bay, and passed IVA with no comments.

For the IVA make sure your hazard circuit still work,
if the examiner see the cut off switch, activates it and the hazards stop it will fail IVA.

You might be best advised not to fit one pre IVA
or by pass battery switch for hazard relay

Same as Jason, and yes if you hit the battery cut out switch then the hazards would not work.
Apart from the direct feed to the starter motor it cut all the electrics.
