Ah, glad to hear that they fit.

Adaptors for TR's 2 to 6 are all the same, covering widths from 4" to 5.5" and look to be the same as the new ones you have (apart from the PCD) -

The longer ones you started with are a bit of a puzzle, do they fit the splines on your wheels and do the same spinners fit both?

Yes to both questions they came as a complete set with the wheels I only discovered the problem when I had the car jacked up to bleed the brakes?

I think they must be earlier ones off the 15"x 5 wheels? £50 plus p&p if anyone wants them.
I managed to get a few jobs done lately I bought a new battery as the small racing one wasn't suitable for this I had to re-locate the battery and make a new tray.

But it didn't work out the way I wanted it as I had used the last of my alloy sheet and couldn't get any more I bit the bullet and bought one.

I have made a alloy clamp just to be safe.
As you can see in the photos I also had to re-locate the washer bottle.
That's it for now keep safe everyone.

Wow haven't been on here for some time so thought I better give a quick update. i could'nt get the cluch to work so the engine came back out I fitted new clutch pivot pin and bushes and new a pushrod. whilst the engine was out i dropped the sump and fitted oversised crank thrust washers + 0.05 that sorted the crank end play engine back in and now i have a clutch again I am now trying to figure out which DVLA dept to send my built up vehicle report to as they can be a bit funny about that if it goes to the wrong dept they may send it back with an IVA application form not what i want.

Deggsy - Good luck with the DVLA.

Is there much left on your 'To Do' list?

Good luck, Paul.

Paul um no and yes the brakes need bleeding, not to bad. But just did a compression test yesterday after putting the engine back together and it is horrible 175. 135. 95. 90psi not good, it's running but will have to come back out at some stage. after I get everything sorted with the DVLA.

Default progress so far

This is the progress so far

Not very good photos sorry.

and this is the offending engine.

I had my suspicions about the engine so last year i bought a short block from Chris in Honiton it had been re bored and I had the crank reground.

at this stage now the unleaded hed will come off the other engin as will the flywheel with it's pre-engaged starter. I will get that done after i sort out the changes with the DVLA
