I do like the triple black (paint, hood and interior) on that California, and those coffin side repeaters also look the business. Very nice indeed.

That's actually Richards red Kali photo shopped black and with additional photoshopped chrome on quarterlight, windscreen and jack hole covers. It's roughyl where I'm aiming to end up but with different wires.

I wonder what the 'Turd Polisher' could do with these....

I could have it to a reasonable standard in about 9 hours, see one I did in the past
http://www.nubodi.moonfruit.com/gallery/4584200900

That is the same wheel!
The missing chrome I spot sandblast and rust treat and then with an artists brush paint in with liquid chrome.
Ha! The Turd Polisher strikes back...

Exactly what I was considering after seeing this barn find California:

Mclean Wire Wheels in the states do black chrome spokes:

Cheers - I've emailed them. Expecting big money!

Chris do you know/remember what the wheels on this one were?

They are different. The centres aren"t the same as MWS wheels and the offset is slightly different, but can't say what make they are as I bought them used on eBay.

MWS bolt on wires look good, but they're not cheap...

Tell me bout it!! Over 2k for wheels and tyres - eek!

Still no reply from either Dayton or Turino

There's also Hallewell who is bespoke (there's a gag in there if you're desperate!) but I don't think he does bolt ons.

Not a big fan of bolt-on wires myself and the 5x120 pcd ones MWS supply don't have quite the rim offset I'd be looking for. Funds permitting I'd go for a set of these at just under £1100 (including adaptors and spinners but plus tyres) -

http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=490

http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=415

http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=392

The rim offset on those looks much more Borrani like than any others I've seen but at about the same price for four as one Borrani would set you back.

As they're only six inches wide, I'd like to think they'd fit without mods to the arches despite the 2.5" track increase that the adaptors give.

Get a bolt on hub adaptor like I did and buy some old wires* from ebay?

*Make sure they are not MG / TR as they are not strong enough

Set of 5 for £250 : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-WIR...gAAOSwZ1lWcttF

Set of 4 for £499 : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGC-GT-Hea...kAAOSwDNdVz4zO

Set of 5 for £349 : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGC-MGB-V8...kAAOSwYaFWb~s-

They won't fit mate - the only wire wheels that will fit without body mods are bead lace bolt ons.

The problem with those wires you've posted is even though they're 6" width because they're well laced the offset is -10mm which means they stick 50mm further out than stock Z3 alloys before you've accounted for the extra width of the adaptors as Andy found out:

http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...?t=5449&page=2

If you want wires it's bolt ons or arch extensions I'm afraid.

SNG Barratt are Dayton dealers but only for jag wheels - still I've asked for a quote on a set of Jag Dayton direct bolts
