Default Seats Location....

Hi...

Trying to sort out my seat runners. Have opted to but the slides under the seat instead of at the side.

Problem I've got is that without bodywork it is hard to judge the best dimension width ways to secure the seat....and as I've got the wide seats I need to get them in the right place to make sure nothing fouls.

Can anyone tell me what clearance they have got between the side if the seat and the centre tunnel - this is my easiest reference point.

Thanks

Rich

Hi Rich,
I have fitted my seats, what measurements do you want exactly, mine are narrow seats so i don't know if that will make a difference. The runners do look neater underneath but it raises seat, which is less desirable for handling. I don't suppose it will make a major difference in the scheme of things though. I would sit in your seats to get best location and also consider clearance under column for legs, my seats are side mounted and my legs just clear column, which is also adjusted to full height. I would check these things before base mounting.

Regards Brian

Thanks Brian...I'll check these points out.

The dimension I'm after is the gap between centre tunnel and the flat face on the outside of the seat ..

Thanks

Rich
