Default Brake light switch wanted please

I am trying to source without much luck the brake light switch that is on the handbrake. Damn thing got horribly bent when previous owner must have stood on it.
I have reshaped it to almost original shape but the plunger still sticks and is unsatisfactory and has loose electrical connection.
Does anybody have one that I can buy from them ?
The donor car was an 89 2.5 L car.

Regards
Dennis

It's part 1 on the diagram in that link, and if you give the part number to your local BMW parts desk they'll be able to get you one.

I lost my original. Just replaced it with one of those little switches used on a door for alarms or interior lights. Works fine...

I have no spares but I think Robin's idea is the best since I bent mine a couple of times.
You can get those door switches in Halfords and are probably a lot more robust.

Thanks guys, the response is brilliant on here. I must admit I was thinking of an alternative if I could not get hold of an original.

Did not have much luck with the realoem site as its not easy to navigate to find the right bit. I suppose its like all things after you have done it a few times you know where to look.

Going to buy the switch, oil filter and o ring from BMW this morning. Having got into the culture of buying only aviation parts for aircraft and not sourcing them from cheaper alternatives. I am adopting that principle with the BMW engine The cheaper alternatives in aviation can and do lead to failures.

Another option is a visit to your local scrap yard...I found mine quite useful

Thanks Tim, I had thought of that but went to the local BMW dealer today in the Marlin and immediately two salesman came out for a look and were surprised at its engine, Not surprisingly they had never heard of a Marlin till today.

Orderred my brake light switch plus an oil filter and O ring, all came to £28. I almost said I don,t want to buy BMW just a few parts, but resisted the temptation. Shoud be awaiting my collection tomorrow.
